Hay Festival

Hay Festival brings writers and readers together online for its 34th spring edition, with hundreds of free interactive broadcasts live from Hay-on-Wye to the world, 26 May-6 June 2021. While the full programme will not be announced until the end of April, the Festival is planning an inspiring array of conversations, debates, workshops and performances online, kicking off with the inaugural Hay Festival Opening Night Gala on Wednesday 26 May in which award-winning writers join performers from stage and screen for an evening of literary fun and inspiration. Steam & Vintage Rally

WW2 - 75 Years
21st August 2021 - 22nd August 2021
HAY commemorates 75 years since World War 2. Re-enactors will be camped around the castle grounds including Monty’s Double, Oma Bradley. Sir Winston Churchill portrayed by Derek Herbert. Parade from main car park. Service of remembrance at the Memorial. Services led by a military parade, Emma Brown (Soprano), Surrey Police Band, and massed choirs.
